Welcome to the Pure Water Ride!
The Pure Water Ride helps to save lives and increase health by providing water filters for people in the batey's of Dominican Republic who have only dirty water to drink and by supporting clean water projects in Cameroon, Africa. Diseases carried by unsafe water are responsible for high incidence of poor health and death in many underdeveloped areas around the world. Clean, healthy drinking water is a fundamental need. Our Charities
The Pure Water Ride supports Hope church's Dominican Mission and clean water projects in Cameroon, Africa under the direction of Thom Schotanus.
Dominican Republic Mission of Hope Church of Sharon, MA. has an ongoing partnership with the Haitian Mission Baptist Church of San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic. The church responds to the many needs of disenfranchised Haitians who work as virtual slaves on the sugar cane plantations and live in destitute conditions in company Bateys. The DR mission supplies batey families with as many Water filters as possible. Check out their website: www.an-ale.org

Converge Worldwide in cooperation with the Cameroon Baptist Convention has water projects in a number of villages in the northwest province of Cameroon. These projects include the Mbingo Hospital and the villages of Njinikejem, Belo, and Mejang, and are under the supervision of Thom Schotanus.

How to Donate
100% of all donations go for pure water. Mail donations to: Pure Water Ride, 8 Cottage St., Sharon, MA, 02067. Checks should be made out to either: Hope Church, for the Dominican water projects- or to: Converge Worldwide, for the Cameroon water projects. All donations are tax-deductible.
